Chris Tomlin brings a loud and resonant call to worship with the Holy Roar Tour, coming to Viejas Arena on Saturday 16th March 2019! The gifted songwriter and worship leader (who has received 23 GMA Dove Awards and a Grammy Award throughout his career) will be bringing Christians together for a night of prayer and praise, featuring songs from his new album, Holy Roar, and a host of special guests!
Writing his first worship song at just fourteen years old, Chris Tomlin led worship throughout school, college and for many years after before self-releasing his debut album, Inside Your Love, in 1995. Today, TIME magazine proffers that Tomlin may be the "most often sung artist anywhere", and he has been awarded 23 GMA Dove Awards and a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for his worship songs. To date, Tomlin has released ten major-label studio albums, including Burning Lights (2013), which is the fourth CCM album in history to reach number one on the Billboard 200 chart. His most recent release is 2018's Holy Roar. Tomlin is perhaps the first to bring contemporary worship music to the mainstream, and his songs "Our God," "How Great Is Our God,""Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)," "We Fall Down," "Indescribable," "Forever," "Kindness," "Be Glorified" and many more are sung in churches across the globe.
