Julión Álvarez set his sights on superstardom at the young age of 18, as he struggled and immersed himself in the local norteno music scene. He started out in a band called "Banda MS”, then formed his own band "Julión Álvarez y Su Norteño Banda”. Since then, there was no stopping him from jumping from one achievement to the next. Apart of chart-topping albums and hit singles, Alvarez has been a Latin Grammy nominee for Best Banda Album, for his album El Aferrado; and his song "El Amor De Su Vida" also received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Regional Song. With his determination and shining example, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto declared Álvarez, "a great example for Mexican youth', in 2015.
