Lady Gaga is an America recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, activist, record producer, businesswoman, fashion designer, philanthropist, and actress. She was born and raised in New York, and began her music career in 2007, playing around venues in Manhattan's rock scene. After a year Gaga was signed to Interscope records and in 2008 released "Fame" which gained her critical and commercial success. The record included the international number-one tracks "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" launching her career into the stratosphere of fame. Following on from the success of the Fame, Lady Gaga released "The Fame Monster" which included the hit singles hit singles "Bad Romance", "Telephone", and "Alejandro".
Gaga's musical inspirations derive from David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Queen, and has set the bar in the music industry with her flamboyant and diverse fashion styles.
She had sold an around 24 million albums and 125 million singles worldwide and which includes some the highest grossing single sales worldwide. The new tour known as artRave derived from a small performance in New York, where she performed songs from the album and showcased art pieces. Using this idea Lady Gaga decided to use this for a her larger tour.
